FAQ

Do I have to do a PET1 before doing PET2?
We recommend that you do the PET1 course before attending the PET2 course to ensure that there is a common level of knowledge at the PET2 course.

Do I have to do PET2 days 1&2 before doing days 3&4?
Yes

I have booked onto one course but it isn’t convenient for me to attend now. Can I transfer?
Yes, up to one month before the date of the course we will transfer your course fees to another course less a £25 administration fee.

Will I get CPD points?
Yes. PET1 = 6 points, PET2 (days 1&2) = 11 points, PET2 (days 3&4) = 12 points, PET3 = 11 or 12 points

Is there an exam at the course?
No

Will there be a course in my area?
We aim to arrange one PET1 course in each region every year.

For PET2 adjacent regions are paired up and we aim to arrange one PET2 (days 1&2) and one PET2 (days 3&4) each year in each paired regions. For example, the North West and Yorkshire are paired up so one year there will be a Days 1&2 course in the North West and a Days 3&4 course in Yorkshire. The following year the North West will run days 3&4 and Yorkshire will run days 1&2.

There is only one PET3 course each year.
