Abstracts continue to be published in Developmental Medicine & Child Neurology and are available online.
There will be a 10-minute introduction at the beginning of the conference to ensure everyone has the app downloaded and is comfortable using it.

“Céad míle fáilte” A hundred thousand welcomes to the 46th BPNA Annual Conference between 29-31 January to Belfast, a city with warm people, energetic pubs, culture-packed history, fine food, a spectacular coast and even a ship of Dreams!
The last BPNA conference in Belfast was in 1999. Twenty years later we are all excited to host you again, to provide a forum for stimulating discussions, to entertain you and to captivate you with the Irish warmth and hospitality.
The conference is held in the Assembly Buildings, a contemporary conferencing complex that will enchant you to a fusion of historic with the state of the art technology and modern facilities nestled in the heart of the city. Designed in the architectural style of the Scottish baronial castle, the gothic structure with its operational peal of 12 bells is bound to charm you.
The centre is accessible by walk to many hotels and restaurants. You will be spoilt for choice. It is a 15 minutes taxi drive from the Belfast city airport and 35-40 minutes from the International airport with bus services (300/300a) running every 15 minutes. Belfast city centre is also only two hours from Dublin airport.
The scientific programme, with an exciting ensemble of local and diverse international speakers, will provide food for stimulating discussions. Personal practice sessions will enhance the clinical armamentarium of the every day neurologist.
Welcome reception is at the magnificent Belfast City Hall with a Grand staircase and a Greek marble clad Rotunda highlighting stunning civic regalia and historic portraits along the way. It is a few minutes away from the conference centre. *Free public tours are available and they last 45 minutes.
The Gala dinner and our entertainment evening set in the backdrop of the large ornate staircase in the first-class section of the RMS Titanic will sink into your cortical crevices and remain there for a lifetime. We hope to go wild partying to the wee hours like the “fun class” titanic passengers to some Irish music and ceilidh band. *The Titanic visitor experience for the die-hard fans is a must and takes about two to three hours.
We promise Belfast will be an experience that will stay with you long after you leave. Think no more. We suggest you spend the weekend with family and friends exploring the sights and scenes Northern Ireland has to offer.
