Oral presentations will have 15 minutes each: 10 minutes for the presentation, with a further 5 minutes for discussion.  Chairing will be strict.  Your presentation will be in the Lecture Theatre which is on the ground floor of the Rum Warehouse Conference Centre (next to the Titanic hotel).

Poster presentations

Please prepare your poster PORTRAIT, A0 (maximum size 841mm x 1,189mm).  Your poster will only be on display for the duration of the conference (Wed 23 – Fri 25 January 2019) for the poster viewing sessions at each break and lunch-time.

The presenter must be one of the submitted authors and is expected to attend the conference and be present for the poster viewing sessions during breaks and at lunch-time each day to answer any questions.  If you are unable to attend for all or part of the conference, please email gail.young@bpna.org.uk as soon as possible.

You will be required to put your poster up in the required location before the start of the first session on Wednesday 23 January 2019 at 11.30. Posters will be displayed either on ground floor or the Mezzanine floor exhibition/poster areas.

On arrival, in the ground floor entrance foyer, you will find a poster plan with the location of your poster. Please look for the board with your poster number and name in the relevant area. We will provide Velcro fixings. If you need assistance, there will be staff on hand to help.

All posters should be removed by 16.00 on Friday 25 January 2019. Unfortunately, we are unable to store any posters that are left on display. Any unclaimed posters will be disposed of as the hotel does not have any storage facilities as the conference centre is being used the next day.

PDF poster upload (for the conference app)

As well as producing a traditional poster for display during the poster viewing sessions each day, the submitter is now able to upload a PDF version of the poster that will be displayed in the conference App. This should be uploaded before the start of the conference on Wednesday 23 January by 9.00.  Please note that this can only be uploaded to the account of the person who submitted the abstract (as this is where the abstract is stored and is linked to the app from here). To upload the poster, the submitter should login to their account at https://bpna.org.uk/login.php using the login details that you used to submit your abstract, then in the top right-hand corner, click on MY ACCOUNT > ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED.  The submitters must have also registered for conference for this facility to be available.
