Abstract submission for the 43rd BPNA Annual Conference is now CLOSED.

Thank you to all those who submitted abstracts for the BPNA conference.  Abstract submission is now closed and all those who submitted abstracts have been notified if their abstract has been selected, or not.  You can also see the outcome by logging into your BPNA account: click on My Account > Abstracts Submitted.

GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

 

The speaker preview room will be open:
  • Wednesday 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  •  Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm

 

Oral Presentations

Please check the programme for the duration of your talk.  Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. Oral presentations will have 15 minutes each: 10 minutes for the presentation, with a further 5 minutes for discussion. Case presentations will have 10 minutes each: 5-minute presentation, with 5 minutes for discussion.  Chairing will be strict.  Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and take it to the speaker preview room in good time before your session.  Your presentation will be in the Concert Hall (main lecture theatre).
 

Video Presentations 

Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint. Video presentations will have 10 minutes each. Chairing will be strict. Please take your presentation to the speaker preview room in good time before your session.  Your presentation will be in the Concert Hall (main lecture theatre).

 

Poster Presentations

  • Your poster will only be on display on your allocated day (please check the programme). 
  • Poster tours will take place at lunch-time on this day, so you are required to be present to discuss your poster with delegates and answer any questions.  
  • If you are unable to attend, please email Katie Wilkinson to discuss this.  
  • Posters should be put up in the required location before the start of the first session on your allocated day.  You should remove them at the end of this day.   Unfortunately, we cannot store any posters that are left on display. Any posters that are not claimed by the end of each day will be disposed of.
  • Please prepare your poster PORTRAIT, A0 (maximum size 841mm x 1,189mm).
  • Posters will be displayed either in the main foyer area or the Recital Room.  Upon arrival, you will find a list of posters and the location.  Please look for the board with your poster number and name.  If you need assistance, there will be staff on hand to help.  We will provide Velcro fixings.
