THE RONNIE MACKEITH PRIZE LECTURE - Nominations for 2016 are now invited (deadline 30 September 2015)
This prize is awarded to those who have made a significant contribution to paediatric neurology as judged by published work and who were under the age of 40 years, or within 5 years of obtaining CCT, whichever was later.  See list of previous winners.

WEDNESDAY EVENING SOCIAL PROGRAMME
We hope you will join us for an evening reception at the Curzon, a newly opened cinema in a Grade II listed building previously occupied by the Sheffield Banking Company.  An evening of silent films, films of extreme sports for which Sheffield is famous, and popcorn, in a delightful surroundings.  After the reception, explore the wonderful range of restaurants close by.

PERSONAL PRACTICE SESSIONS

Diagnosis and management of neonatal non-HIE encephalopathies
Led by: Tony Hart & Nicola Robertson

Management of chronic neurological pain syndromes
Led by: John Goddard and Chris Rittey

This personal practice session will focus on pain management in two chronic neurological syndromes, one rare and one common.
1. Primary Erythromelalgia: a genetic mutation of the Nav 1.7 sodium channel.
2. Cerebral palsy: a neurodevelopmental disorder, often of unknown aetiology.
The facilitators will also be willing to discuss pain management in other disorders which participants may wish raise.
