CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Thank you to all those who submitted abstracts for the conference.  All contributors were notified if their abstract had been selected, or not, by email in October 2014.  If you did not receive notification, please email Philippa Rodie quoting your abstract submission number.

GUIDELINES FOR PRESENTERS

The speaker preview room is located on the ground floor of The Sage, in the Squire Seminar Room.  There will be two AV technicians available:

  • Wednesday 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Thursday 8.30am - 5.00pm
  • Friday 8.30am - 2.00pm

Oral Presentations
Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint. Oral presentations will have 15 minutes each: 10 minutes for the presentation, with a further 5 minutes for discussion. Chairing will be strict.  Please bring your presentation on a memory stick and take it to the speaker preview room in good time before your session.  Your presentation will be in Hall 2 (main lecture theatre), on the first floor.

Video Presentations 
Please prepare your presentation using Microsoft Powerpoint. Video presentations will have 5 minutes each. Chairing will be strict.  Please take your presentation to the speaker preview room in good time before your session.  Your presentation will be in Hall 2 (main lecture theatre), on the first floor.

Poster Presentations

  • Your poster will be on display for the duration of the conference, not one day. If you are not able to attend all 3 days, please send your poster with a colleague or ask them to take it away with them.  Unfortunately we are not able to return any posters that are left behind.
  • Please prepare your poster PORTRAIT, A0 (maximum size 841mm x 1,189mm).
  • Posters will be displayed in the Barbour room on the 2nd floor.  Please put your poster up during registration on Wednesday.  Look for the board with your poster number and name.    We will provide Velcro fixings. 
  • Please make yourself available by your poster at each lunchtime viewing sessions to discuss your work with delegates.
