This group meets 4 times a year, 3 of which are whole day meetings. Half the meeting is for clinical case discussions of complex epilepsy and there is often an invited speaker as well. The meeting also considers research issues, particularly joint projects, and common areas in development for epilepsy services (regional and national). The meetings are open to all BPNA members and are most relevant to those members responsible for complex epilepsy within a tertiary service.
